Sewing

Today I learned how to sew! Mom and I are starting a rag quilting business and I suppose you do have to know how to sew. Mom was a great teacher and soon I was quilting the x's on the quilt squares.

As I was contemplating my sewing mistakes (threading the machine wrong, the needle falling off, sewing not exactly straight) I thought how life is the same - you have to make mistakes or else you won't learn anything!
