In That Day

This morning in our Bible study with Mom we read out of Isaiah 24. I found this chapter to be very interesting. We had just watched The Hiding Place the night before and I was thinking of the Holocaust and all the evil that happened. Though evil has and still does seem to flourish, in the end God will make everything right when Jesus comes to judge this earth. In this we have an overwhelming hope that keeps us praying for that day to come!

So it will happen in that day, 

that the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high,

and the kings of the earth on the earth.

They will be gathered together

like prisoners in the dungeon,

and will be confined in prison;

and after many days they will be punished.

Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed,

for the Lord of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,

and His glory will be before His elders.
